Our Client, a successful Indian businessman approached us with an intention to relocate to the UK with his family. He had successfully invested in a number of international companies around the world however he now wished to settle in the UK. He was drawn to the UK as he had family in the UK as well as the fact that the UK had a very good education system which he felt his children could benefit from.

Our Immigration Team first assisted Our Client by advising on what type of documents are needed for Investor Visa applications. We advised our Client on how he could obtain the documents needed for this application in order to satisfy the eligibility requirements however our Client was unsure as to what he could invest in.

Through our network, we connected our Client with Wealth Management Companies who advised Our Client on investment opportunities in the UK which qualified under the Tier 1 Investor Visa category. Following a presentation with a number of Wealth Management companies, Our Client was happy to proceed with the investment opportunity offered.

After thoroughly reviewing the documents we noted that some documents were not compliant with what the Home Office required and advised our Client of this. He was able to have the documents amended after which we were able to complete the application preparation. We completed the Online Application forms for Our Client and his family members. We then prepared detailed legal representations to accompany the Application and the Application process was completed.

After a wait of approximately 2 weeks, our Client was notified that his Application for a Tier 1 Investor Visa was successful.

Background

After successfully running and investing in several high tech businesses in the US for nearly 20 years, Our Client approached us as he wished to relocate to the UK and had already identified a number of UK Companies which he wished to invest in. He saw the UK as an ideal location to be based in as to was ideally suited for him as he had business interests in the US and the Middle East.

Our Client, a Chinese National had recently received a gift of £3 million from her uncle.

She wished to invest the funds and relocate to the UK with her family. By profession Our Client was a Financial Investment Advisor and this meant that she already had planned how and where to invest her funds.

In her recent role, her duties were to provide her clients with specialist advice on how to manage their investment portfolios, researching the marketplace and recommending most suitable products and service to invest in, ensuring clients are aware of the developments in the market and have all the information for evaluating their investment options.

The Context

Our Client, a Russian national was granted entry to the UK as an Investor. The client was referred to us by a Wealth Management Company who we have previously worked with. We arranged an initial consultation with the Client at Office in central London in order to understand exactly what our Client was looking for, not only in the short term but the long term.

He explained that he has lived in various countries around the world but it was the UK’s stability in terms of its economy, society and educational institutions which was attracting him here. Once the paperwork was reviewed and we were able to promptly complete his visa applications forms and agree a date for submission.

The Outcome

Following a brief wait of 8 days, the Applicant and his family were granted Entry Clearance to enter the United Kingdom. The Applicant was ecstatic with the result and was complimentary of our services.

The Context

Our Client, an Uzbek National was delighted with Home Office recent decision to grant him Entry Clearance to enter the UK as a Visitor. He was a frequent visitor to the UK over the last few years.
