Wills

Going through life, you will want to ensure that your future and the future of your loved ones are protected. In order to ensure maximum value of your estate, a Will makes certain that after you die, your wishes will be respected.

It is vital that your Will is drafted and prepared in the best manner possible.  Poorly prepared Wills could lead to arguments between the family as the terms of the Will are not clear.  A correctly drafted Will should remove any doubt and will avoid unnecessary stress at a time of grief.

Probate

When a person dies and has left behind a valid Will, it will normally mention a person or persons who will be in charge of making sure that the terms of the Will are carried out amongst other things.  The person or persons are referred to as executors.

If no valid Will has been left behind, the matter becomes more complex.  An application will need to be made to Court who will issue a legal document which allows for an administrator to administer the estate.
