Some Of Our Success Stories
We were contacted by our Client who was working with a Technological Company in India. He had previously worked with a UK based Company too however they lost their Sponsor Licence and was not able to continue his residency in the UK. He no longer wanted to be in Sponsored employment because of his previous experience and was looking for an alternative option.
We advised our client that working in a Product-Led Technology Company was not enough to meet the Criteria. He would need to consider the requirements to establish he is ‘exceptionally talented’ with reference letters from leading figures in his industry. We then discussed with Our Client which of the qualifying criteria that he sought to rely on for the Endorsement. Upon review, we were able to narrow down which of the criteria he wanted to rely on as those requirements could be met with the required documentation.
Whilst collating the documents, we asked the Client to also begin working on his Personal Statement as this would be a key document of the Endorsement Application. The Client was able to provide us with the documentation which we cross referenced with the requirements of Tech Nation.
We then prepared the Endorsement Application and received a positive decision after 4 weeks. We then prepared the Visa Application which we prepared reasonably quickly as the Client had the documents ready.
After 2 weeks, the Home Office notified our Client that his Application for the Global Talent Visa was successful.
Our Client had applied for an Endorsement under the ‘exceptional talent’ route however the Endorsement application had been refused with the Endorsing Body confirming that none of the requirements had been met.
Our Client had worked on an innovative idea in his home country and had successfully filed patents regarding this idea.
The criteria for Endorsement is quite strict and we emphasised that he would need to provide a substantial amount of evidence to prove his talent but the document would need to be concise and relevant. We advised the Client that we should change tact and look to rely on different criteria.
Having gone through our Client’s working profile, we advised our Client on the type of documents that would be needed to support the Application. He struggled with the content of the reference letters from the leading figures in his field. In this regard, we advised him of what points the letters would need to cover which he found very helpful.
Following a wait of just 4 weeks, our client was contacted by the Home Office to confirm that the Endorsement had been granted. Our Client had been preparing for the Visa Application and was able to provide us with the documents needed for the Application. After the submission of the Visa Application, Our Client received his Visa after a wait of 3 weeks.
Our Client was an experienced businessman who had worked with a number of technological companies based in the US. He was currently serving as a CTO and now wished to establish himself in the UK.
Our Client had an impressive background having spoken at a number of key events during his career as well as making contributions in several leading journals and publications.
During the consultation with Our Client, we discussed which of the criteria Our Client could rely on for the Endorsement. We worked out which documents could prove that the requirements are met but crucially, which documents would represent a stronger application for the Endorsement.
Our Client came back to us with the relevant documents which we reviewed and analysed. We felt that the documents did not accurately reflect his profile and were far too general. We asked the Client to provide more documents which were much more reflective of the key achievements rather than the general work he had done during his career.
The second set of documents provided by Our Client were far better and reflected his ‘exceptional talent’.
The decision was received after 24 hours which was one of the quickest decisions we had received for an Endorsement. The Visa process took slightly longer but nonetheless, the decision was received within 3 weeks.
Our Client has been carefully selected by a University for her post as Co-Investigator on a research project. She would be working under the direct supervision of the Principle Investigator at the University. She was seeking an Endorsement from the UKRI which had recently been introduced.
The criteria for Endorsement is quite strict and we emphasised that he would need to provide a letter from the University who would confirm that an Offer had been extended to her. We advised her that the criteria was not as stringent as it was for an Endorsement under Tech Nation which provided some relief to our Client.
Having gone through our Client’s working profile, we advised our Client on the type of documents that would be needed to support the Application. We advised her of what points the letters would need to cover which she found very helpful. The Client put us into contact with the University so that we could advise directly on what was needed for the Application.
Following a wait of just 6 weeks, our client was contacted by the Home Office to confirm that the Endorsement had been granted. We then moved to the Visa Application process stage and submitted the application for both the Applicant and her family members. The Visa was granted after 8 days.
We were approached by Our Client who had been working and residing in the UK in the banking sector. He had been involved, globally in the digitising of a number of banking systems in the Middle East and Africa. He felt the ICT Visa he was currently on was not aligned with his family and career plans. He saw a future where he would start his own business in the UK rather than employment.
As with most Applicants under this Route, they are familiar with the Rules but find it difficult to pin down which documents would be suitable for this type of Application. We arranged a call with our Client to understand his background and then provided him with a documents list of the types of documents that can be given.
We asked the Client to not restrict himself in terms of the number of evidences he provides us. We wanted to take the initial pressure away from the Client in terms of selecting the best 10 pieces of evidence which were suitable for his case. Our Client provided us with all his evidence which was available to him.
We then reviewed his documents and selected what we thought was the best pieces of evidence. We then asked our Client to select what he thought was the best pieces of evidence and compared our lists. We then selected a combined set of documents from our lists and prepared the application for Endorsement.
Our Client received his Endorsement decision after 4 weeks after which we successfully applied for his Global Talent Visa.
Our Client approached us having been referred by a friend who we had recently help secure an Innovator Visa for. He wished to migrate to the UK as he felt that with his industry experience, this would be the best possible place to launch a start-up from. He had seen that London was home to a number of successful start-ups and that the Global Talent Visa would be the best Visa for him to have.
Our Client explained that he has been researching the Visa route extensively and had already been working on the documents for the Application. We were able to quickly review the documents and advised him that we needed more documents which demonstrated his involvement in the innovative systems that he had set up.
He wished to apply for the Endorsement and the Visa at the same time in order to save time.
Approximately 6 weeks after the Endorsement Application was submitted, we were contacted by the Home Office advising that the Endorsement had been granted by Tech Nation. We swiftly moved on to the Visa Application processing and following the submission of the Visa Application he received his decision after two weeks.
