Children

The law governing the rights over children is covered under the Children Act 1989. Applications of these nature allow for the Court to make wide ranging Orders in relation to Children. The Court can be reluctant to issue Orders which define arrangements for your children unless the parents cannot agree the same between themselves.

The Family Law team at Cranbrook Legal are experienced in dealing with a whole range of issues involving children, such as:
  • Child Abduction cases
  • Child Arrangement Orders
  • Relocation
  • Parental Responsibility
  • Prohibited Steps Order
  • Specific Issue Orders
  • Special Guardianship
We understand cases involving Children are sensitive in nature and therefore their best interests must be a primary consideration. The Court will consider the needs and wishes of the children as well as the effect the change of circumstances will have on them.
