Our client was a large IT support service provider company based in Germany. A co-founder was looking for an Expansion Worker visa, so that they could open a UK hub of operations for their UK clientele.
We were recommended to our client by one of our existing clients that had acquired an Overseas Business Representative (Sole Representative) visa with our assistance.
Our client was a large IT support service provider company based in Frankfurt, Germany. The company was founded by four business partners, and had successfully expanded its operations over the previous 10 years within Europe, the United States, and Australia. Following the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union, the company now wished to expand its business to have a physical presence in the UK.
Our client wished for one of the founders to relocate to the United Kingdom through an Expansion Worker visa, in order to launch the UK-based branch.
Our team discussed the documentation that was required from our client in order to successfully apply for the Expansion Worker visa. We advised the client on how they could establish a footprint in the UK, and other documents which would be needed for the sponsor licence application.
We were able to work directly with the company’s HR and accounts team, which made it a more efficient process to obtain the necessary documents. The client wished to apply for the priority service; however, the Home Office did not offer its premium service for this type of sponsor licence. Nonetheless, we received a positive decision after five weeks.
We then liaised with the client directly to obtain the documents needed for the visa application. As we had much of the information gathered, we swiftly prepared the candidate’s visa application and submitted it on a priority basis.
We received a prompt decision on the matter and were successful in acquiring the visa for our client. Our client commented on their impression of our law firm as “diligent, professional and honest”.
